I am always researching and reading about nutrition. I love exploring improved ways to get the most nutritionally dense value out of my meals. Especially those that give me energy to get through my hectic, crazy day at the boutiques! I do believe beauty comes from the inside out. Who doesn't want an amazing complexion? However, with every birthday, my focus has shifted toward healthier aging and getting a more anti-inflammatory, antioxidant rich diet. Yes, I still want glowing skin but also want what we all hope for...a happy, healthy lifestyle!
I am amazed and inspired everyday by the women who shop at my boutiques. My customers have such vitality and take care of themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. One of my favorite experiences from the boutiques, (besides the beautiful clothing!), are the powerful exchanges of information between customers. The inspirational conversations leave me informed, grounded and supercharged to live a healthier life!
So why broccoli sprouts? I came across a podcast where Dr. Rhonda Patrick was a guest speaker. As I listened to the science and research behind broccoli sprouts the more convinced I became that they would become a daily staple in my diet. Dr. Patricks research not only expanded my vocabulary with big, new words like sulforaphane and myrosinase but she called me out to expect more out of my nutrition for optimum health! I already juice several times a week so it would be simple to add broccoli sprouts to my shakes, right?
